CDC expands to 20 events: how the $400,000 programme breaks down
PDC reports an expanded 2027 CDC schedule, with 20 Main Tour events and a combined $400,000 prize fund across the tour and three championship events.
CDC's 2027 programme will feature 20 Main Tour events and $400,000 in announced prize money across the tour and three championship events, according to PDC.
More events, with a separate championship allocation
Moving from 16 to 20 Main Tour events adds four tournaments, a 25% increase. Each offers a $15,000 prize fund, producing a $300,000 Main Tour total.
The remaining $100,000 comprises $30,000 each for the Cross Border Darts Challenge and Continental Cup, plus $40,000 for the North American Darts Championship. The headline figure therefore covers more than the Main Tour alone.
Indianapolis opens the season
The opening weekend is scheduled for March 26–28 at PopCon in Indianapolis, the first Main Tour competition at that event. The Continental Cup is set for November 19–21. Locations for Main Tour weekends two to seven and the Cross Border and Continental Cup events remain to be announced.
Reading the expansion beyond the headline total
For DartsGo, separating event numbers from championship allocations provides the clearest view of the change: one describes the regular competitive programme, while the other shows how prize money is distributed across the wider season.
